TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4 (TB4), a naturally occurring 43-amino acid peptide with a molecular weight of approximately 4,921 Da. Thymosin Beta-4 is one of the most abundant intracellular peptides and is expressed in virtually all nucleated mammalian cells, where it serves as the primary G-actin sequestering molecule.
